I hope you all have had a lovely weekend. I had the pleasure of watching my 11 year old play in his baseball tournament, I got to run the Theta Breakers 5K this morning with my Hillview x-country kids, do an 8 mile trail run with my weekend crew, take my 16 year old daughter and 3 of her besties to see Hozier at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, celebrate the birthdays of two friends, co-host a Halloween party for MA, and the weekend was topped off with an amazing remembrance gathering in Huddart Park to celebrate my friend, Maria, who passed away a year ago this month. It was a whirlwind of a weekend, but I feel so fortunate to have been a part of every one of these events. One thing I have been working on lately is taking deep breaths when I feel overwhelmed by my schedule to focus on the thing that I am doing at the moment. It is really true, if you can stay present and mindful of what you are doing at any given moment, things become more meaningful and less stressful.

I hope to see you all in class this week. We have a full week with many options for getting in a great workout! Nothing is more important to your mind than the health of your body, and nothing is more important to your body than a healthy mind and soul. Make sure you take care of yourself from the inside out. You deserve to be your best version of yourself every day.

Peace,

Stella
